A Peaceful State of Mind…

So, when I meditate, I think of something or a place peaceful and calm. Then I think of the Ferris wheel. As you get into the seat and get buckled in and, the wheel moves just enough to let the other riders be seated, then it moves just enough to let the next set of riders get on and be seated, this goes on and on and on until everyone is seated. Then the most comforting ride begins.
As the Ferris wheel goes up, every movement is exhilarating, we can see all over the theme park – all of the lights, it is “soooo” peaceful. It put everyone in such a good mood, there’s something special about this ride. Another special treat, it goes backward–which presents a very eccentric thrill.
At the beginning and end of the ride, it goes slow and often stops while others are getting on and off, but no one complains, it’s just more time to look, enjoy quiet conversations, ponder, and be at peace. The most Awesome part of the ride is when it stops at the top for each rider to enjoy the scenery (you feel weightless). 12 minutes of Pleasure!!!
The Ferris wheel is named after its inventor, Pittsburgh bridge builder George Washington Gale Ferris Jr. The Ferris wheel was first unveiled in Chicago in 1893 during the World’s Columbia Exposition. The World’s tallest Ferris wheel is 550 feet high and 520 feet in diameter, called the High Roller. Your average Ferris wheel is approx. 150 feet high.

Hello, this is Quoya again. Wow, that was fun 🙂 So, how I start my meditation: I put on my headphones or earbuds with very low music and no lyrics. Then I count backward from 20, I do this about 3 times to get my own attention and concentrate on freeing my mind of worldly stress and troubles.
Now I’ll continue my Mental Adventure. I chose the Theme Park because it is overwhelmed with joy, fun, and happiness. Everyone is always “Smiling” and in the best of Moods. A “Smile and A good Mood” is the greatest therapy ever.
A 15-minute Meditation adventure that will stay with me all day. (I set my clock, I got kids and not a lot of time).
Meditation is the state of mind where you can relax and feel calm, peace, and happiness–it relieves the brain of thoughts of fear, anxiety, and stress, and you’ll be surprised how relaxed you will be. It can improve willpower skills, attention, focus, stress management and impulse control, and self-awareness. Your mind will drift, then go right back to your backward count if you need to or whatever works for you.

So I’m still at the Theme Park (continuing my meditation) I walk past all kinds of people, just the process of going to the next ride or event is a treat in itself. If you are a people watcher, this is the place! Faces painted, adults helping kids lick the ice cream cone before it melts cause it’s 87 degrees. (serious meltdown)
Then we go look at the giraffes–20 feet tall (the world’s tallest mammal), weighs 1800 lbs., and run 40 mph. They spend most of their lives standing up: they sleep and give birth standing up. They sleep
only 5-30 minutes a day. A giraffe’s spots are much like human fingerprints. No two individual giraffes have exactly the same pattern.

Giraffes are generally quiet and non-vocal, a newborn is 6 feet tall and runs within a few hours of birth. Giraffes have the most awesome presents and grace, just watching them is peaceful.
Talking about peaceful, we enter the sheep suite. The kid’s eyes lit up as they were able to feed the sheep, rub and hold the sheep. The baby sheep were fed with a big baby bottle.
Sheep are the most loved and popular animal. They are meek, very quiet, and gentle. Sheep are very intelligent, with very good memory and recognition skills. Sheep are friendly, and they help one another during fights, they stick together for protection. Sheep were mentioned 500 times in the Bible, more than any other animal. They do not bite, and they are not helpless or stupid. They are just nice, quiet, and peaceful.

So, when I meditate, it’s like taking a mental vacation, and I enjoy every second of it. Google it, read on it, try it-you might like it.
This is Quoya, I had fun, that was great!!! Once again, thanks for allowing me to come into your world. I truly hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
And remember, we will always provide Motivation and Inspiration that “Commands Attention.”
God bless & remember: do unto others–as you would have them do unto you. It’s that Simple…
